SCRIPTURES FOR FINANCES
"Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today, (12) lest--when you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them; (13) and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; (14) when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; (15) who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no water; who brought water for you out of the flinty rock; (16) who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do you good in the end-- (17) then you say in your heart, 'My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.' (18) "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.
The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
“Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your
bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."
"And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe
to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.
“Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these
things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God
and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an
abundance for every good work.
Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all
precious and pleasant riches.
Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty
and your vats will overflow with new wine.
There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.
The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.
